Breakfast
This past Wednesday was our monthly committee meeting. With only 8 people attending out of 23 it turned into more of a social meeting. Please people, at least let our secretary, Katinka know if you cannot make it. It is imperative that all members reach the 50% attendance target as a minimum unless there is a valid reason why you cannot do so in a specific month.Remember also that attending other Rotary functions or meeting at another Club can be your make-up. Just ask the Club for proof of attendance to submit to Katinka. A few make-up functions are on the horizon, the AGM, the golf day, and the gala dinner.

New Venue
We are going to give a new venue the run for their money (or maybe ours) to see what if we can cope with a different sunrise than the current one. Looking out over lush green (soon to be) grass, trees and the tranquility of a golf course just may be an improvement over seeing the Egoli Gas works! Breakfast as usual with the theme set as a Business meeting. Come prepared to brag in a generous manner

Training
Please remember the 30th of this month is RLI training at the Rotary Center in Bezuidenhoud Park, Observatory Ave, Dewetshof, Johannesburg. RLI Part 1 & 2 will be served with all the trimmings. This is a great opportunity to get to know the inner workings of Rotary and understand what makes this great organization ticks. Please confirm attendance with Katinka so we can make the necessary arrangements with Beth Thomas.
