Great fun was had by one and all on our 5th Wednesday at the Smit's in Parkhurst. A very big thank you to Debbie and Greg for allowing the bunch into their home. The format was a pot-luck and everybody had something to add to the table. Debbie made some wonderful vegetable soup and a crab-chowder. Lucille made Salmon pancakes, Zena did a rice dish, Steve and Jenine a pasta dish. Paul, the First Lady and Gregor provided deserts, Amina some sausages and everyone catered for their own drinks.
The fellowship was lively but unfortunately we could not go all out as our hosts had to depart for the airport early the next morning. Which was also a good thing, they may have had a big sleep-over! The food was too much and I do believe some were doing leftovers for a day or two. Anything that got left behind may have end-up in the freezer... (but that is just hearsay)
