Business and great news

Board Meeting:

The board meeting on Monday 10 November went well and it seems we are making our way slowly forward. The two cycle races (January and February) were discussed and we have 12 people for the January event. The February race will be documented and mailed to the members for action.

Good News:

It is official!!! Katinka announced this morning that the club will grow with one member but it is going to take some time... Our secretary is pregnant!!! Congratulations Katinka and Zak, may the new family member bring you loads of fun and joy.

President Elect:

Due to the great news from Katinka, we had to relieve her from presidential duties next year. PP Jankees Sligcher raised his hand to take her place next year. Thank you Jankees and congratulations on being the first President of the club to serve a second term. We know we will be in good hands.

Rotary Minute:

President Steve talked about the history behind the Rotary Wheel. Next Wednesday PP Paul Kasango will take a turn to inform the members about his Rotary minute.

General:

The Christmas dinner will be our last event for this year (2014) and our first meeting in 2015 will be on the 21st of January. The year is rushing to its end and there are so much to do still. PE Jankees and Pres. Steve will visit the Pimville site to do inspection for the planned project there. Pres Steve will also be speaking to the Benoni Aurora Club next week and the Rotary Cycle Tour is the topic.
