Here are some random shots of our membership function. As usual it took place in the Skills Kitchen at the SA Chefs' Association. After a brief introduction by President Graham there was a very short and to the point presentation by Ian Widdop. Ian has the knack of doing these things well without either making them too long or vaguely boring...that's a gift! Then it was into the food and what a delight to have Waterblommetjie Breedie followed by a wonderful raised apple pie plus extras....and there I must mention the wines. Lots of members brought wine and there was so much left over that the Board Meeting the following Monday was another party!
Congratulations Allan Beuthin for another outstanding membership event. We have always gained members from these functions and as we are now getting into the swing of things and knowing better who to invite and what to do I am sure this will, in terms of new members, be the best one yet!
