The Club welcomed Jacks Mokoka from Donate a Loo as a visitor.  Jacks is intending to become a member of the Club, and to assist the Project team with the Donate a Loo project.  Welcome, Jacks!

Today's meeting took the form of a feedback session for those who were unable to attend the Club Assembly.  Carol Stier led the meeting and Julian Nagy gave feedback on the projects.  Carol is standing in as President in the absence of Linda Vink, who is travelling abroad.

Julian summarised the projects and outlined the benefits of each project for the Club.  Dave Marshall will be leading the Donate a Loo project and lending his engineering skills to the project team

Carol Stier proposed that the Club obtain a YOCO credit card machine to assist with payments from donors.  The merits and costs will be investigated and once obtained, the board will make a decision.

President Elect Judy Sligcher has had a number of meetings with President Linda Vink, Immediate Past President Carol Stier and Past President Joan Donet to prepare herself for the coming year.

Judy's Induction will be held on 20 July at the Nyoka Ridge Vulture Restaurant, Skeerpoort, Magiliesberg.  Please diarise the date - an invitation with more details is on its way to you all.  Judy explained that the theme for the new Rotary year will be "Rotary connects the world",  and she hopes to reflect that message in her year as well as making the Club more visible in the immediate vicinity of Parkview and surrounds.
