Business as usual

Wednesday was the monthly business meeting with feedback from various committee chairs. Mike Vink gave us an update on the current financial situation while Julian Nagy talked about raising more!
What is important, is the upcoming golf day and it is time to put the pedal to the metal. The more teams the merrier and please note, all golfers are welcome. If they are not part of a four-ball, we will team them up with other singles (or couples). For those who may have misplaced their calendar, the golf day is on Friday, 30 November 2018.

The liquor stash for the barrow of booze is growing nicely, but more contributions will be appreciated. Please bring your contributions along to the meeting.

More goodies for the golf day

As usual, we had a few guests at the meeting and it was great to see Emilio Kiyeta Yamfu from the DRC again, and Rusty van der Walt (CEO Wish Come True Foundation) made a second appearance. Who knows, pretty soon he may be a fixture at the club.

Peter will have to come back as a speaker with the Rotary Peace Scholarship as the topic of the talk.

Past President Amina Frense

The sixties never left us, and Amina is the living proof of that... flower power all the way!
